It only takes a minute or two. Simply place the rice in a bowl with water, and then swish it around to release any excess starch. The water will be cloudy at first but after several rinses, it will be clear.

Ingredients
1 cup Basmati Rice- buy some from @7monkscafe
2 cups Water
1 tablespoon Oil
½ tsp salt
½ tsp Vinegar

Place one cup of basmati rice in medium bowl and add enough water to cover by 3inches. Gently rise out rise and drain. Repeat 4 times or until water runs clear. This helps removes the extra starch from the rice.

In a medium pot, bring rice, oil & vinegar & bring to boil. Cover with a tight lid and cook for 5-8 minutes. Once water starts to boil over, remove lid and continue cooking for another 10 minutes. If rice it too firm, add a few tablespoons of water.

Rice should cook to be al dente. Drain off excess water and let rice sit for 10 minutes. Enjoy!

Sunday French Toast

https://www.7monkscafe.com/recipes/sunday-french-toast

https://www.7monkscafe.com/recipes/sunday-french-toast#comments

Breakfast

Ingredients1 Challah bread- order now at 7 Monks Cafe6 eggs1 ½ cup milk1 tsp Vanilla essence1 tsp CinnamonButter- Oil or ButterSlice thick, 1 inch slices of the challah bread- use a sharp knife.Crack all 6 six eggs and add 1 ½ cups of milk, vanilla essence & cinnamon.
