2. Gruene Hall
​
This historic town hall hasn’t changed much by design ever since it was first built. It still has its original layout and advertisement signs from the 1930s to the 1940s still hang around the hall.

1. Faust Hotel
Opened in 1929, there’s no wonder that this hotel is haunted. Many people say that the original owner still walks its halls and sounds of children playing can still be heard even if no one is playing.

2. Prince Solms Inn

3. La Llorona at the Guadalupe River

You might have heard several versions of this story but the most basic story is about a woman who drowned her children in a river because her husband left her for a younger woman. La Llorona means “The Weeping Woman” and she is typically described as wearing a long white dress.

The 10-day fun celebration of food and music to commemorate the town’s German heritage is fast approaching. Are you ready for Wurfest? Get your dancing skills and appetites ready for some of the best sausages you’ll ever taste. Let’s start celebrating!

The festival will happen on November 5-14,2021. Make sure to secure your tickets online to avail of some discounts or you can also buy on site. Children 12 and below are admitted for free. For more information about the festival read here.
