1. Friends of the New Braunfels Public Library
The Friends of the New Braunfels Public Library, Inc. raises money through the Annual Book Sale, the Children's Book Sale, the Bookstore located in the library, and various other projects. The money raised is used to fund enhanced programming, additional databases, Summer Reading, storytimes for children, and lots more.

2. New Braunfels Humane Society
The Humane Society of the New Braunfels Area is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization that accepts stray pets brought in by citizens and if space allows, pets whose owners can no longer care for them. Therefore, they are inundated daily with homeless pets and have no control over the number or type of animals that enter our shelter.

3. Connections Individual and Family Services
Connections Individual and Family Services is a 501 (c) 3 private, non-profit organization founded by a group of community leaders in 1981 to provide a safe and secure alternative to the “streets” for homeless, abused, or at-risk youth.

Founded in 2010 by the San Antonio Food Bank as The Kitchen Table, the New Braunfels Food Bank is an expansion of this effort to more fully serve the Comal and surrounding counties. Their focus is for clients to have food for today but to also have the resources to be self-sufficient in the future.
