Corporate Catering in New Braunfels That Everyone Can Eat

3/18/2026

When you’re ordering for the whole office, “everyone can eat” has to be the goal

Corporate catering gets tricky fast because you’re not just feeding a group, you’re feeding preferences and restrictions too. One person is vegetarian, someone is gluten free, someone can’t handle spice, and someone just wants something familiar. The easiest win is choosing a catering setup that lets people build their own plate.

Indian food works incredibly well for this because it naturally includes vegetarian options, can be made mild, and pairs with sides that make it flexible.
Picture
The easiest “office friendly” catering formulaIf you want high satisfaction and low stress, order in these 4 categories:

1) One crowd favorite entreeChoose a “safe” option that most people recognize and will try confidently.
Go-to pick: Butter Chicken
It’s creamy, rich, and mild-friendly, which makes it a great anchor dish for mixed groups.

2) One vegetarian entree that feels just as fillingThis is where a lot of corporate catering fails: they offer a salad and call it vegetarian. A real win is giving veggie eaters something hearty.
Go-to picks: Paneer Tikka Masala or Vegan Korma
These work for people who want comfort food without meat and they still feel like a full meal.

3) One snack or appetizer tray people can grab during meetingsMeeting food needs to be easy to pick up, dip, and snack on without a full plate.
Go-to pick: Samosas (especially Jalapeño Cheese Samosas if you want something fun and memorable)
They work for drop-in meetings, open houses, training days, and staff appreciation.

4) Two sides that make it customizableSides let everyone adjust their meal for spice level, gluten, and appetite.
Must-haves: Basmati Rice + Garlic Naan
Rice is the universal base, naan makes it satisfying and shareable.
Picture

Use this as a quick checklist before placing your catering order:
  • Offer at least one vegetarian option that is equal in portion and value to the meat entree
  • Ask for mild spice by default, then add heat on the side (sauces, chutneys, or spicy sides)
  • Include rice for every entree so gluten sensitive guests have a complete plate even if they skip naan
  • Add an appetizer tray so late arrivals or snackers still get something
  • Label everything (even simple labels like “Veg” and “Contains Dairy”) so people feel comfortable
Why offices love this style of cateringBecause it solves 3 corporate problems at once:
  • It’s easy to serve buffet style
  • It feels like a treat but still works for diverse diets
  • It gives people choices without needing custom meals

If you’re planning a team lunch, training day, or client meeting in New Braunfels, the best corporate catering is the kind everyone feels included in. A simple mix of one classic entree, one vegetarian option, shareable appetizers, and flexible sides can feed the whole team confidently.

Ready to impress your team?
Let 7 Monks Cafe handle your next office lunch or event! We offer a full catering menu and party platters designed to make your planning stress free and delicious.

Valentine’s Day Dinner Ideas in New Braunfels for Couples Who Want Something Different

2/15/2026

Valentine’s Day can be really sweet in New Braunfels, but it can also start to feel the same every year. Busy restaurants. The same menus. The same pressure to plan something perfect.
Picture
This year, I want to make it fun.
Something a little different, a little more personal, and honestly, a lot more you two.
So here’s an interactive Valentine’s guide. Read it together, answer a few quick questions, and let the plan build itself.
Picture
Answer this together. No overthinking.
A. Cozy and quiet
B. Fun and playful
C. Adventurous and new

Now match your mood to a plan.

If you picked A: Cozy and quiet

Picture
This is for the couples who love a soft evening and staying close.
 THE PLAN
  • Start with a slow walk downtown or at Landa Park.
  • Go home and make the table feel special even if it’s simple.
  • Eat something warm and comforting.

MAKE IT INTERACTIVE
Pick one
  • Who is more likely to light a candle
  • Who is more likely to steal a bite first
  • Who is more likely to say “let’s do this again next week”

EASY DINNER IDEA
Choose one main dish to share, plus one side for each person. That way it feels like a little tasting menu at home.

If you picked B: Fun and playful

This is for couples who want to laugh and keep the energy light.
Picture
THE PLAN
  • Do a mini date challenge.
  • Each person picks one stop, no telling the other until you arrive.
  • One stop could be a dessert place.
  • One stop could be a quick browse in a local shop.
  • One stop is dinner.

MAKE IT INTERACTIVE
  • Two truths and a lie, but make it about food.
  • Then the other person has to guess which one is the lie.

Examples:
  • I love spicy food
  • I hate garlic
  • I would eat samosas every day

EASY DINNER IDEA
Order a few shareable items and rate them like judges.
  • Best flavor
  • Best texture
  • Most romantic
  • Most likely to order again

If you picked C: Adventurous and new

This is for couples who want something different from the usual Valentine’s dinner script.
Picture
THE PLAN
  • Try a dish you’ve never ordered before.
  •  Let the night feel like a little adventure.

MAKE IT INTERACTIVE
Do this quick “new food comfort” quiz together.
  • Are you more sweet or savory
  • Are you more creamy or tangy
  • Are you more mild or spicy
  • Are you more crispy or saucy

Your answers decide your order.
  •  Sweet plus creamy is a drink like Mango Lassi.
  •  Crispy plus tangy leans toward street food style bites.
  •  Saucy plus creamy leans toward curry comfort.

A quick Valentine’s Day food game before you decide

Read each question out loud and point to the person it fits.
  • Who orders the same thing every time
  • Who wants to try something new
  • Who loves spicy
  • Who says mild but secretly wants medium
  • Who always takes leftovers home
  • Who would rather share everything
Now build your dinner from your answers.

A little note from me
Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to be fancy to be meaningful.
It just needs a little intention and a meal that makes you slow down together.

And if you want something warm, flavorful, and different from the usual Valentine’s menus, dinner is waiting at 7 Monks Cafe.

Where to Eat Vegetarian and Vegan Food in New Braunfels

1/27/2026

January always feels like a gentle reset for me. It’s the time of year when I naturally start reaching for meals that feel a little lighter, a little cleaner, but still comforting and satisfying. And while New Braunfels is famous for barbecue and big Texas portions, vegetarian and vegan eating is absolutely possible here. You just have to know where to go, and what to ask for.
This guide is for anyone exploring things to do in New Braunfels and looking for local spots that actually work for plant based living, without feeling limited or left out.
Picture
A quick note before diving in
The easiest way to eat vegetarian and vegan in New Braunfels is to look for places that already build their meals around vegetables, grains, beans, and global flavors. These kitchens usually understand plant based eating more naturally.
The second, and maybe most important, trick is getting comfortable asking one simple question:
“Can this be made vegan, no dairy, no eggs?”
That sentence opens more doors than you might think.

1. Naturally Café

Naturally Café is one of my favorite stops when I’m craving something fresh and nourishing. Their menu focuses on ingredient-forward food like sandwiches, soups, juices, and smoothies. It’s a wonderful option when you want something lighter that still feels filling and thoughtful.
It’s the kind of place where you leave feeling energized instead of heavy.
Picture

2. Adobe Cafe Tex Mex Cocina

Tex Mex can actually be a great choice for vegetarian and vegan eating when the menu is clear, and Adobe Cafe does this really well. They have a section specifically labeled vegetarian and vegan choices, which makes ordering much easier and less stressful.
It’s a great reminder that plant based food does not have to feel restrictive.
Picture

3. Krause’s Cafe and Biergarten

Krause’s is such a classic New Braunfels hangout, especially when dining with a group that has different preferences. Their menu highlights gluten free and vegetarian options, which makes things much simpler.
Vegetarian ordering is easy here, and vegan options are often possible with a couple of smart swaps and a quick question.
Picture

4. Crosswalk Coffeehouse and Cafe

Some days call for a cozy coffee shop and something simple. Crosswalk is a great place to slow down with a cup of coffee. It’s always worth asking about plant based milk options, and vegetarian ordering is very straightforward.
For vegan options, a few small adjustments may be needed depending on what you are craving that day, but the team is usually happy to help.
Picture

5. New Braunfels Farmers Market

This one is not a restaurant, but it absolutely deserves a spot on the list. The New Braunfels Farmers Market is such a fun way to eat plant based while supporting local makers.
With dozens of vendors, including prepared foods and beverages, it’s a perfect Saturday morning stop for vegetarian and vegan friendly finds.
Picture
A gentle ordering guide that makes everything easier
When a restaurant is not strictly vegan, these questions can make all the difference:
  • Is there any chicken broth in this?
  • Can the sauce be made without butter or cream?
  • Can the wrap be made without aioli or cheese?
  • Is the rice cooked with any meat stock?
They may seem small, but asking these questions is the difference between guessing and feeling confident about your meal.

And if the day ends with Indian comfort food
If your search for vegetarian and vegan food in New Braunfels ends with a craving for something warm, flavorful, and deeply comforting, 7 Monks Cafe is a cozy place to start.
Our menu includes vegan friendly options like our signature vegan samosas, along with street-style snacks such as pakoras, which are naturally plant based and full of flavor.
