River tubing is one of the fun ways to enjoy Texas and the best place to do it is in the crystal-clear waters of New Braunfels — home of the Comal and Guadalupe Rivers. If you’re unsure where to get the best river spots or would love to have a longer time in the river but don’t know how, this guide is for you. Know that the longest Comal trip is from Landa Falls and the time of the ride depends on the water flow so your float won’t be that much longer. After the tube chute you can always stop by Float In and hang out for a while then resume. The Guadalupe River offers a much longer float and some river outfitters offer tubing for up to 6 hrs. If you would like to enjoy the river longer, here are some outfitters where you can rent your tubing gears right by Guadalupe. 1. Float In They may not offer tubing in the Guadalupe but try renting with them when planning to go to the Comal River. You can rent a float from them but they highly recommend bringing your own. Air Compressors are available on site. They also offer club memberships to let you save more. Address: 462 E Mill St. New Braunfels, TX 78130 Phone: +1 830-213-2355 2. Whitewater Sports They’re conveniently located at the end of the Horseshoe Loop on the Guadalupe River so expect that you will be floating in this scenic river spot. They offer 2-6 floats but be sure to check their website for availability. Address: 11860 FM306 #2 New Braunfels, TX 78132 Phone: +1 830-964-3800 3. KL Ranch Cliffside This is the perfect place when you want to have a full blast outdoor adventure in New Braunfels.
